Today I Ate a Slice of Pizza in a Hospital Bed ππ₯ — And Tried to Pretend Everything Was Normal
A Prayer of Strength, Healing, and Hope for Jacob
Lord and Eternal God,
we come before You with humble hearts, placing Jacob in Your loving hands.
You are the source of all life, the giver of strength, and the healer of every wound—seen and unseen. Nothing is beyond Your power, and no situation is too great for Your mercy.
We ask, Father, that Your will be done in Jacob’s life, and that Your peace surrounds him in every moment of uncertainty. Wrap him in Your presence. Let him feel that he is not alone—not now, not ever.
A Prayer for Healing
Beloved Father,
You are the Physician of physicians, the One who restores, renews, and gives life.
We ask You to touch Jacob with Your healing hand.
Bring strength to his body
Calm to his mind
Peace to his heart
Where there is pain, bring relief.
Where there is fear, bring comfort.
Where there is weakness, bring renewal.
Let every cell, every breath, every heartbeat align with Your healing power.
Declaring Life and Strength
In the name that is above every name—
the name of Jesus Christ—
We declare:
The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead
will bring strength, restoration, and life to Jacob.
Let that Spirit move within him now.
Lift him from this bed.
Restore his energy.
Fill him with courage and hope.
Amen. So be it.
Words of Encouragement
Stay strong, little brother.
You carry the name of a warrior—and that is no coincidence.
Even in weakness, there is strength growing within you.
Even in silence, there is a battle being fought—and you are not fighting alone.
God is with you.
He is great.
He is powerful.
He is merciful.
Trust in Him, even when the road feels long.
Faith in the Midst of Struggle
Take heart, because faith moves mountains.
Even when you don’t see the outcome yet,
even when the days feel heavy—
your faith is working.
Every prayer matters.
Every moment of hope matters.
And every breath you take is a reminder that God is still writing your story.
A Final Blessing
We surround you with love, prayer, and strength.
May Christ Jesus walk beside you.
May the Blessed Mother Mary hold you in her care.
May peace fill your heart and courage guide your spirit.
You are not alone.
We are with you.
God is with you.
And healing is possible.
Big hug in Christ Jesus. π€
Amen.
